DAY 1

The WISCH19 started with an introduction of the WISCH Team given by Maria Isabelle Wieser, Deputy Director of foraus and Head of the Think Tank Hub Geneva, and Enrique Mendizabal, Founder of On Think Tanks. It was followed by an introduction of the participants and a discussion about personal learning goals. In the second part of the morning, a lecture about Think Tanks and evidence-informed policy was given by Enrique Mendizabal. Among the topics he covered were a definition of the concept of Think Tank and their roles, the history of Think Tanks and a discussion around evidence-informed policy. In the afternoon, the foraus Team took the participants on a City Tour of Geneva.
