Multilateralism and the environmental crisis

With COP26 taking place in November, the climate crisis was once again at the forefront of foreign politics. Intrinsically a transnational issue, it requires multiple actors from a wide range of fields to tackle it and propose solutions.

International Geneva is known to be a hub for multilateralism, so what is its role in the preparation of such an event? Can it be a center of global environmental politics, or does it still need to rise to the challenge?

We have had the honour to welcome Lydie-Line Paroz, Senior Adviser in the International Affairs Division of the Federal Office for the Environment, who shared her expertise on the subject, as well as her experience as a delegate to COP26.

This “Think&Drink” was co-organized by foraus and the Think Tank Hub.
